Former Coaching Schooler and Trinidad and Tobago National Team captain Dwight Yorke has successfully walked a disciplinary tightrope.
The Sunderland AFC midfielder has been on four yellow cards since he was booked for celebrating a goal at Sheffield Wednesday on January 20.
Yorke has played five games since knowing that one more yellow card would lead to a one-game ban.
But the five booking suspension rule has now passed, meaning Yorke will not get banned if he receives another yellow card.
Players do not now get suspended until they have accumulated 10 bookings; and after the second Sunday in April, it rises to 15 bookings before a suspension is effective.
