Makan Hislop Selected For Digicel Cup

National Team head coach Wim Rijsbergen has selected a 21-man squad to challenge for the 2007 Digicel Caribbean Cup. Trinidad and Tobago’s first game is scheduled for January 12 against Barbados at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Trinidad.
Makan was selected along with two other Tobagonians (Dwayne Jack, Kwame Wiltshire), who currently campaign for Tobago United.

Foriegn-Based Demolish Coaching School Locals

It has been reported that on Boxing Day, Coaching School’s Foreign-Based outfit almost abused the local team 4-1.
The Foreign-Based team included (but was not limited to) players such as:

- Kareem Yearwood (College of Charleston)
- Makan Hislop (University of South Carolina),
- Antonio Braithwaite (Erskine College),
- Jerome Toby (Clayton State),
- Denzil Turpin (Wallace State Community College),
- Javon Carrington (Concordia College)
- Victor Thomas (Concordia College).
Details are still sketchy, but it has been noted that the only goal scored from the local team, was based on a penalty.
