Yearwood Named to Southern Conference All-Conference Team

Foreign-based played Kareem Yearwood, the Southern Conference’s (SoCon) leading scorer with 12 goals in hte 2007 regular season, was selected as a first-team forward this past week.
Yearwood, a sophomore from Sou Sou Lands, Tobago, leads the SoCon and the team in points with 25. Earlier this week he was ranked as 25th in the NCAA Division I in points-per-game (1.47) and 14th in goals-per-game (.71). Yearwood’s efforts have earned him the top spot in the conference goals-per-game and game-winning goals as well.
On Saturday 10th, Yearwood added another goal to his tally as he scored first for College of Charleston in their 3-1 victory over Georgia Southern. College of Charleston will now advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
