The College of Charleston men’s soccer team edged UNC Wilmington, 1-0 in game two of the Nike/Aaron Olitsky Memorial Tournament Fri., Sept. 7, at Patriots Point Field in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
“It was a very tough game and they were hard to play against,” said CofC head coach Ralph Lundy. “I was impressed with our increased commitment. We really put the pressure on them and that made the difference.”
Kareem Yearwood scored the game-winning goal and his third of the season off a double assist by Doug Edwards and Wes Knight, his third for season.
