Panthers Tie Cougars in First Exhibition Match

Foreign-Based players Kareem Yearwood (College of Charleston Cougars) and Javon Carrington (Georgia State Panthers) faced off against each other for the first time in their NCAA careers, on August 18th in CHarleston, South Carolina.
Javon was one of the top defensive players on the day, leading the Georgia State backfield along with fellow defenders, while keeping out Charleston’s formidable strikers, which include Kareem Yearwood.
The exhibition was an opportunity for both the Panthers and the Cougars to see the strengths of their newcomers.
