Striker Curtis Job scored a 52nd minute winner as Stokely Vale FC beat St Clair Coaching School (SCCS) 1-0 in the Charity Cup exhibition game, to mark the opening of the Tobago Football League 2007.
SCCS displayed good technical footwork in the center of the field during a competitive first half, knocking the ball around but lacked the finishing touch in their play much to the anticipation of the spectators at the Dwight Yorke Stadium. However, seven minutes into the second half a miscommunication between the last man and goalkeeper left Curtis Job totally unmarked with an empty goal to tuck away the lone item.
SCCS kicks off their first game in the Community Cup Home and Away Tournament (TFA 2007) on June 6, against Bethel United.
