Chief Secretary Orville London (of the Tobago House of Assembly) presented coach Bertille St.Clair with a $.3 million cheque (Trinidad and Tobago currency) on Monday 11th June.
A media release said the presentation was made in recognition of Coach St.Clair’s invaluable contribution to the development of Tobago’s youth and football at the local, national, and international levels for more than forty years.
Coach St.Clair, who served as Trinidad and Tobago’s National Coach on various occasions, thanked the Chief Secretary for the monetary award and pledged his continued support to the development of youth on the island.
Coach St.Clair is expected to be away on duty in the United States of America during the summer months coaching kids on the fundamentals of the game.
