Cowan Named To App. State’s Academic Honor Roll

Foreign-based player, Joel Cowan, is currently attending Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina (USA).
He was recently (January 25, 2007) named to Appalachian State University athletics’ 2006 fall semester academic honor roll. In order to achieve this honor, a student must earn a 3.25 grade point average or higher to earn honor-roll distinction for a given semester.
Joel, who is originally from Mt. Grace, attended Bishop’s High School, Tobago was invited to the Trinidad & Tobago national team camp in January 2005. He is working on majoring in Athletic Training, and intends to standout at Appalachian State as did another Coaching Schooler, Keon Tono McPherson.
