It is rumored that the much-hyped about game between Barbados’ National Team, and a select Tobago XI (featuring Coaching School’s foreign-based players) has been called off.
It is not completely why the Bajans are not coming to Tobago, but since some of their plans to host their pre-Digicel Caribbean Cup camp on the island fell through, the games are no longer on.
Barbados is expected to open their campaign in the Cup tournament on Friday 12th at the Hasely Crawford Stadium (Mucurapo), against the Soca Warriors (T&T National Team). They have only won three (3) or twenty-six (26) matches against Trinidad and Tobago since 1973. During this time, they lost sixteen (16) times and drew seven (7).
Barbados is unbeaten in their last nine (9) international games.
