Kareem Yearwood Named to College Soccer News’ Team of the Week

College of Charleston men’s soccer player Kareem Yearwood has been named to this week’s Collegesoccernews.com Team of the Week (last week in September) for being nominated as one of the top 11 players in the nation.
Yearwood, a junior forward from Sou Sou Lands, Tobago (and former Coaching Schooler), led the Cougars to victories over Jacksonville (1-0) and Stetson (2-0) at the Saturn of Charleston/Nike Soccer Classic as the Cougars won the tournament championship.
He scored the game-winner against Jacksonville with three minutes left in double overtime, then came back and scored a go-ahead goal in the Cougars victory over Stetson. For his efforts, Yearwood was named MVP of the Saturn of Charleston/Nike Soccer Classic.
