Foreign-based and College of Charleston men’s soccer player Kareem Yearwood has been named to the 2008 Missouri Athletic Club’s Hermann Trophy Watch List. This is the first time a College of Charleston player has ever been nominated for the award.
A junior from Sou Sou Lands, Tobago, Keion Yearwood led the Southern Conference in goals (13) and points (29) in 2007. Yearwood was named a first-team All-South Region member by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and also was All-Southern Conference First Team last season.
Yearwood also led the SoCon in game-wining goals and finished the year tied for conference lead in goals scored and points.
